Initial market

Last updated View as MarkdownAgent index

StormTrust starts with storm-driven residential and light-commercial roofing or restoration companies in hail-prone United States markets.

The first customer should have an established sales team, an existing CRM, and the ability to deploy after meaningful weather events.

Qualification profile

A strong initial customer has these characteristics:

  • Active hail markets
  • Deployable field capacity
  • Existing CRM process
  • Customer or roof records
  • Current storm-response motion
  • Executive decision authority

Revenue, team size, and property volume are qualification inputs. They are not permanent market definitions. Refine their ranges after qualified customer conversations.

Buyer roles

The owner, president, or chief operating officer is the economic buyer. They want faster decisions, existing-customer protection, and measurable return.

The sales or operations manager is the operational champion. They need ranked areas, assignments, revision context, and clear progress.

The field representative is the daily user. They need the next property, the reason it matters, and a fast outcome workflow.

Pain sequence

The customer currently moves through several disconnected handoffs:

Storm
  → conflicting tools
  → manual interpretation
  → property list
  → territory drawing
  → field distribution
  → disconnected CRM activity

Each handoff creates delay and weakens attribution.

Poor-fit customers

StormTrust should decline prospects that expect guaranteed damage, claims, leads, contracts, or revenue. It should also decline unlicensed contact-data requests and customers without the ability to act on storm intelligence.
