# Prepare your first source review

Create a small review packet for `candidate-jackson-parcels`. You will learn to find evidence, preserve unknowns, and stop at the correct checkpoint. The finished artifact is a review draft, not an ingestion run.

## Before you begin

You need the [jurisdiction registry](/stormtrust/product/platform-and-data/missouri/jurisdictions/), the [source candidate](/stormtrust/product/platform-and-data/missouri/sources/#candidate-jackson-parcels), and a place to write a draft. The recorded evidence is sufficient for this exercise; no county account or terms acceptance is needed.

## Build the packet

1. In the registry, find Jackson County. Copy `us-mo-29095` and GEOID ` 29095`. Confirm that the registry describes identity rather than parcel availability.
2. In the candidate dossier, read both evidence entries and their limitations. Record the official viewer discovery and the observed agreement control. Neither observation proves a bulk interface or permission to redistribute.
3. Create this draft. The nulls are part of the expected result.

4. Add the unresolved questions: which native dataset supplies the geometry, how it can be acquired, what uses are supported, and who reviews the answer. Link `gap-jackson-access` in [open decisions](/stormtrust/product/platform-and-data/missouri/scope/).
5. Check the result against the acceptance list below. Keep the draft separate from canonical approved records. Do not mark the source approved after completing this exercise.

## Check your result

The packet identifies the correct jurisdiction, names both evidence records, and retains unknown endpoint, schema, vintage, and count values. It identifies the access review as pending and the assigned owner as unresolved.

The correct answer to “Can we ingest this source now?” is **not yet established by this packet**. A completed tutorial is not approval to accept terms, contact the county, download all parcels, publish data, or deploy a Worker.
